Machine Risk Assessment As A Service

Engage TEG Risk’s Machine Risk Assessment as a service offer and save your organisation time and money while maintaining a compliant and high quality machine safety programme. You have an explicit duty to maintain effective controls for your risks and to regularly review those – this service helps you meet the requirement.

After performing an initial assessment, TEG Risk will produce a risk assessment report in MinRisk (award-winning safety software), that allows for precise documentation and ensures consistency in the assessment process. This information is stored securely, providing a centralised repository for easy access and future reference. As a part of this service, we can quickly and easily perform any required subsequent machine risk assessment at agreed intervals (6 or 12 months), this review includes checking for any updates in regulations or standards that may impact the assessment.

Our Process

1. Expert Initial Assessment

TEG Risk assigns a team of expert machine safety engineers to conduct the initial risk assessment. These professionals visit your facility and thoroughly evaluate the machines in question. They identify potential hazards, assess the current safety measures, and collect relevant data to create a comprehensive risk assessment – with top quality data in the application.

2. MinRisk Software

Our safety engineers utilise award-winning machine safety risk assessment software, MinRisk, to record and analyse the assessment findings. The software allows for precise documentation and ensures consistency in the assessment process. This information is stored securely in MinRisk, providing a centralised repository for easy access and future reference.

3. Read Only Access

TEG Risk provides your team with a full, or read-only version of MinRisk, granting them secure access to the assessment records. This read-only access allows your team to review and stay updated on the assessment findings, recommendations, and any action items.

4. Ongoing Monitoring

As the agreed-upon assessment frequency approaches (every 6 or 12 months), TEG Risk’s team reviews the stored assessment in MinRisk and determines what follow-up assessment is required. This review includes checking for any updates in regulations or standards that may impact the assessment or plant changes.

5. Subsequent Reviews

TEG Risk’s team conducts a risk assessment review using the stored initial assessment as a foundation. They review the existing findings, update any changes or new risks, and make any necessary recommendations. This approach saves time and resources since the team doesn’t have to start from scratch but builds upon the existing assessment.

6. Reporting and Recommendations

After the subsequent assessment, TEG Risk provides the client with a detailed report that outlines the findings, updated risk assessment, and any recommendations for improving machine safety. These recommendations may include implementing additional safety measures, conducting training, or upgrading equipment as needed.

7. Continuous Support

TEG Risk remains available for ongoing support and consultation. We can address any questions or concerns that you may have, provide guidance on implementing the recommended safety measures, and assist with staying compliant with relevant regulations.

Why TEG Risk, and MinRisk?

TEG Risk is a leading provider of Machine Risk Assessments aimed at enhancing machinery safety and promoting a secure workplace environment. We specialise in collaborating with organisations across Australasia and internationally to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Throughout the Risk Assessment process, TEG Risk delivers meticulous reports that enable stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the identified issues as well as recommended best-practice solutions.

Our Machine Risk Assessments encompass a wide range of safety disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and functional aspects. With our extensive expertise and robust methodology, we excel at identifying and evaluating risks that may go unnoticed or underestimated by Health and Safety personnel or engineering professionals without specialised knowledge in this field.

As partners of MinRisk, we’re equipped to support our clients to transition their risk reporting systems to the gold-standard cloud reporting and management offered by MinRisk, and we can do this while conducting new risk assessments.

“I would rather use nothing else due to the productivity gains and logical means of documenting the existing controls & remedial actions with photos providing visual references. MinRisk pairs nicely with built in features in the iPad to achieve a really powerful solution. New features have been added during the time I have been using it, making it more and more user friendly.”
