Josh Perry

Safety Engineer

Josh holds a Diploma of Electrical Engineering and has specialised in industrial electrical maintenance and automation for the past 18 years.

About Josh: 

He has spent most of his career, operating as an electrical contractor, allowing him to gain wide exposure into a host of different industry environments. He has also been involved in several production line relocation projects, which have taken him abroad to: China, Thailand, USA, Jamaica and Australia, where he generally acted as the electrical foreman. Prior to joining TEG Risk, Josh was operating his own business, where he also developed his skills in electrical design and project management.

Some of the industries and clients in which he has been involved with, include:

– Freight/transport – shipping, air and rail (Ports of Auckland, Auckland Airport and KiwiRail)

– Food and Beverage (Vitaco, Pepsi Co (Bluebird Foods), Asahi Beverages, Goodman Fielder)

– Fastmoving consumer goods (FMCG) (Fisher and Paykel)

Qualifications:

Diploma of Electrical Engineering – Electrical trade level 4

Certified Machine Safety Engineer TUV NORD (CMSE)

Josh was attracted to TEG Risk as he saw the company as the New Zealand market leader in the area of machine safety and could provide him with an opportunity to extend his training and skills in this fast- growing arena. The prospect of future advancement with a progressive company, who he believes has the potential to be global players in the machine safety industry, was a compelling reason to seek employment with the TEG team.
