Jason Carter brings over 30 years of experience across diverse industries, including pharmaceutical, dairy processing, manufacturing, and packaging. As a key member of the TEG Risk team, Jason specialises in hazardous substances management and combustible dust safety, offering deep expertise in electrical and automation design, project management, and safety control systems.
Throughout his career, Jason has held various technical and leadership roles, both in New Zealand and internationally. His experience includes working as an Electrician and Electrical Consultant in the UK, as well as serving as Senior Automation Engineer, Electrical and Automation Team Leader, and Services Group Manager. These positions have provided him with a solid foundation in designing machines and systems that comply with NZ/AS, European, and American standards for Functional Safety and Hazardous (Explosive) Atmospheres.
Jason’s extensive background enables him to offer valuable insights into industrial safety, particularly in high-risk environments where managing hazardous substances and mitigating the risks of dust explosions are paramount.
